Discover how the Bunny Wrap Ring works as an adjustable hay feeder to reduce waste and keep your rabbit's hay clean and accessible.
Quick Answer
The Bunny Wrap Ring is an adjustable ring designed to hold hay, helping you reduce waste and keep your rabbit's hay clean and accessible.
Why Hay Waste Happens
Rabbits often pull hay out of racks or bins, trample it, or refuse to eat soiled portions. This leads to wasted hay and more frequent refills.
A hay feeder that keeps hay contained but accessible can cut down on waste. The Bunny Wrap Ring's wrap-around design holds hay close to the cage bars, so your rabbit can nibble without pulling out large amounts.
Adjustable Fit for Different Cages
Not all cages have the same bar spacing or thickness. The Bunny Wrap Ring is adjustable, so you can fit it securely on most wire cages or pens.
A snug fit prevents the ring from sliding or tipping, which keeps hay in place and reduces mess.
Diagnosis: Is the Bunny Wrap Ring Right for Your Rabbit?
- Symptom: Your rabbit pulls hay out of its rack or bowl, tramples it, or refuses to eat hay that has been soiled.
- Likely Cause: Standard hay racks or bowls allow rabbits to pull out large amounts, leading to waste and contamination.
- Corrective Action: Use the Bunny Wrap Ring as an adjustable hay feeder. Wrap it around cage bars, fill with hay, and let your rabbit nibble directly. The wrap design keeps hay contained and reduces waste. Monitor hay consumption and adjust the amount you place in the ring to avoid overfilling.
- When to Choose Another Option: If your rabbit is a heavy chewer that destroys plastic or metal accessories, or if your cage bars are too wide for the ring to fit securely, consider a heavy ceramic bowl or a clip-on hay rack instead.
